Grey Area

I’m grown up, but still a kid

Stuck in this weird gray area

Between an adult and a kid

Maybe I’ll never escape, but

I’ll try to find meaning in the

Time in between, seeing as

Everyone goes through it

I’m no different than anyone else

But my experiences are different

They’re mine and mine alone

No one can take them from me

And no one can say that I am wrong
