Gravel

5 Mar 2020

Roughly ground, a gravel of substantial size

Resting gently in an unsightly pile

The backbone of the modern world

Sitting quietly, waiting for its turn

Concrete, asphalt, by itself

So many uses to mankind

Yet shunned when not serving a purpose

I wish to be like gravel

Quietly living my life

Serving the greater good

Making the world a better place
